ORDER Granting Motion to Set Aside Default Judgment and Denying Motion to Dismiss #83 by Judge Cormac J. Carney: [J]udgment by default is a drastic step appropriate only in extreme circumstances. Mesle, 615 F.3d at 1095. Based on the foregoing factors, and in light of the Ninth Circuits admonition that a case should, whenever possible, be decided on the merits, id., setting aside the entries of default and default judgment amounting to over $800,000 against Greeson is warranted.
