Filing 17 MINUTES OF Motion Hearing held before Judge Christina A. Snyder: Defendant's Motion to Compel Arbitration 11 is hereby granted in part and denied in part. Defendant's motion is denied insofar as it seeks an order preventing plaintiff fro m pursuing a representative PAGA claim in arbitration. Otherwise, defendant's motion is granted, and plaintiff's claims must proceed in arbitration. These proceedings are hereby STAYED pending the completion of arbitration. However, the arb itration is also STAYED pending the completion of the arbitration of the related case of Cunningham v. Leslie's Poolmart, Inc., No. CV 13-02122 CAS (CWx), 2013 WL 3233211 (C.D. Cal. June 25, 2013). The parties are ORDERED to file a joint status report regarding the posture of the arbitration every one hundred and eighty days from the date of this order, and within 20 days of the resolution of the arbitration.
