ORDER denying without prejudice ECF No. #13 Motion to Vacate and to Proceed In Forma Pauperis. The Court construes ECF No. #13 as a request to vacate ECF No. 12 ORDER for Security for Costs, and to waive the security requirement pursuant to Local Rule 83.3(b). The Court may only grant such a motion upon good cause shown, and the Court finds Plaintiffs affidavit insufficient to support such a finding. See Santora v. All About You Home Care Collaborative Health Care Services, LLC, 3:09-cv-00039 (DJS), 2010 WL 4942665 (D. Conn. Nov. 23, 2010) (finding that conclusory statements about a plaintiffs inability to pay were insufficient to support a good cause showing). The Court is mindful that the Plaintiff was able to pay the $400.00 filing fee and he did not attach a copy of his inmate account to his Affidavit or the motion. Accordingly, Plaintiff may re-submit a Motion to Modify or Waive the Security for Costs with an attached Inmate Account Statement or other supporting documentation. See Brown v. Tuttle, 3:13-cv-1444 (VAB), 2016 WL 471246 (D. Conn. Feb. 5, 2016) (granting a security modification requiring only $100 as security for costs where the prisoner-plaintiff submitted a copy of his inmate account).
