ORDER RE PENDING MOTIONS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME. The Court GRANTS defendant's motion for extension of time (Doc. #20 ) until November 18, 2020 to file any objection or other response to plaintiffs' motion to remand (Doc. #17 ) and plaintiffs' motion to file an amended complaint (Doc. #15 ). Defendant need not file any objection or other response to the complaint (or amended complaint) until 21 days after the Court rules on the motion to remand and motion to file an amended complaint. Because plaintiffs' separate motion for substitution of proper party defendant (Doc. #16 ) is related to its motion to amend the complaint, the Court likewise extends the date to November 18, 2020 for defendant to file any objection or other response to this motion. The Court GRANTS plaintiffs' motion to continue the parties' filing of a Rule 26(f) report (Doc. #19 ) until 30 days after the Court rules on the motion to remand and the motion to file an amended complaint. In light of these rulings, the Court does not believe it is necessary to conduct a pre-filing conference but will do so upon request with an explanation of the specific issues to be discussed.
