Filing 9 NOTICE OF INSUFFICIENCY re: #3 Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis. The plaintiff filed her in forma pauperis motion on a form that is not used in the District of Connecticut. She is therefore directed to re-file her motion on the District of Connecticut form, a copy of which will be mailed to her by the Clerk of the Court. She is respectfully advised that she must fill out the form completely and truthfully, and (in particular) she must disclose any financial support she receives from other persons (such as family members or friends) in the any other income section on page 3. If she receives support from another person, she must explain why that person is unable to pay the filing fee. See Fridman v. City of N.Y., 195 F. Supp. 2d 534, 537 (S.D.N.Y. 2002) (holding that, in considering applications for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, the Court can and should consider whether the filing fee can be paid by persons who provide the plaintiff with support). The plaintiff is further advised that, if she does not re-file her motion on the proper form by May 3, 2022, her case may be dismissed. (Wood, R.) |
