MEMORANDUM AND OPINION by Senior Judge Charles R. Simpson, III on 10/23/13; The Court concludes that the thirty-day removal period of 28 U.S.C. § 1446(b) did not begin to run until March 11, 2013, when ABS received Plaintiffs letter offering to settle the case for $375,000. Thus, ABS timely filed its Notice of Removal on April 3, 2013, and the Plaintiffs Motion to Remand must be denied. A separate order will be entered in accordance with this opinion. cc:counsel (JBM)
