ORDER and REASONS - Presently before the Court is Plaintiffs' "Motion for Reconsideration and/or to Alter/Amend Judgment" 282 . Having carefully considered the parties' submissions and applicable law, IT IS ORDERED, for the reaso ns stated herein, that the motion is DENIED. Accordingly, as stated in the Court's prior Order and Reasons (Rec. ORDER and REASONS - Presently before the Court are motions for summary judgment filed by Defendants Harry Connick, in his official capacity as the (former) District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, the City of New Orleans, and former New Orleans P olice Detectives Micelli and Heath 88 and 150 . Having carefully considered the parties' supporting and opposing submissions, and applicable law, IT IS ORDERED, that the motions are GRANTED, and that Plaintiffs' claims are DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. Additionally, because Defendant Eddie Jordan, in his official capacity as the (former) District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, is named solely as the successor to Defendant Harry Connick, in his official capacity as the (former) Dist rict Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiffs' claims against Defendant Jordan are likewise DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE, as stated within document.
