Filing 9 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Cristina D. Silva on 7/27/2022. Pending before the Court is the #4 Motion for Partial Dismissal filed by Defendants Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Joseph Lombardo, Alfredo Quintero, and Praveen Raj. In the motion, the Defendants seek dismissal of Sheriff Lombardo, the Monell claims, the Equal Protection claim, the First Amendment Retaliation claim, and the state law claims. Subsequently, the parties entered into a Stipulation to Extend Plaintiff's Time to Amend Complaint or Oppose Defendants' Motion to Dismiss. An Amended Complaint was filed on July 20, 2022 (See ECF No. 20), but the status of the pending #4 motion has not been addressed. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the parties must submit to the Court a joint status report, by August 3, 2022, setting forth their position regarding whether the motion should be denied as moot, or if Defendants are seeking to withdraw the motion, or any other information necessary for the Court to resolve the pending motion.
