December 13, 2023 Opinion or Order Minute Entry and Order: An in-person pre-motion conference was held before Magistrate Judge Joseph A. Marutollo regarding Defendants' motion to dismiss on December 13, 2023. Pro se Plaintiff and Defendants' counsel appeared. As discussed at the December 13, 2023 conference, the letter-motion #8 is deemed Defendants' motion to dismiss pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(1) and Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(6) (Defendants' motion to dismiss). By December 15, 2023, Defendants shall file a Local Civil Rule 12.1 notice and also serve it, via mail and email, on Plaintiff. By December 15, 2023, Defendants shall, pursuant to Local Civil Rule 7.2, provide copies of cases and other authorities cited in Defendants' motion to dismiss that are unpublished or reported exclusively on computerized databases. Plaintiff shall file his brief in opposition to Defendants' motion to dismiss by January 15, 2024. Plaintiff's brief shall be limited to twenty-five pages. Defendants shall file their reply, if any, by January 22, 2024. Defendants' reply shall be limited to ten pages. Defendants' reply shall also comply with Local Civil Rule 7.2. Defendants shall also serve a copy of their reply on Plaintiff via mail and email.
