For the reasons set forth above, the defendants' motion for sanctions (Docket no. 69) is granted to the extent that the plaintiffs (1) are precluded from relyi ng on the subject emails, and (2) shall pay the attorneys' fees and costs incurred by the defendants in establishing the spoliation and obtaining relief; the motion is otherwise denied. Within fourteen days of the date of this order, the defenda nts shall submit an affidavit detailing the attorneys' fees and costs for which they seek an award.
