TEXT ORDER denying #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiff is not employed and receives $1958 per month in pension/annuities/disability/life insurance payments, as well as monthly government assistance towards his utilities. He identifies his expenses that are not covered by the benefits he receives to be $1,074.28 per month. Plaintiff resides alone in a home that is worth $80,000 and has no dependents. Based on the Court's review of plaintiff's monthly income, expenses, and funds available in his checking account, the Court finds that plaintiff has not put forth sufficient indications of indigency, and therefore, his motion is denied. Plaintiff has until January 18, 2022 to pay the $402.00 filing fee. If plaintiff does not pay the filing fee or otherwise seek relief from this Order by January 18, 2022, the Clerk of Court will dismiss this case without prejudice without further order.
