Filing 78 MEMORANDUM OPINION: For these reasons, the motion for summary judgment [Doc. 61] will be GRANTED and the cause of action against Chief Street and Cpt. Smith will be DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. Plaintiff's motion for an extension of time [Doc. 64] will be GRANTED nunc pro tunc, and motions to show cause, to compel, for counsel, and to deem service of process effective [Docs. 58, 65, 66, 74] will be DENIED. Because plaintiff failed to effectuate service of process and the sta tute of limitations has lapsed, the cause of action against Officer Buckles will be DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. Because plaintiff failed to name the John Doe jailers within the statute of limitations, the cause of action against those defendants will be DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
