Filing 145 DOCKET TEXT ORDER. On March 20, 2019, Plaintiff Federal Election Commission (FEC) filed a short form discovery motion seeking sanctions against Defendant Jeremy Johnson (Mr. Johnson) and third-party witness Ronald Yengich (Mr. Yengich), based on a failure to comply with prior discovery orders #142 .Under the local rule, an opposing party must file its response to a short form discovery motion within five business days after filing. See, DUCivR 37-1(a)(6). Here, neither Mr. Johnson nor Mr. Yengich has filed a response, and the time within which to do so has expired. Upon review, the court GRANTS Mr. Johnson and Mr. Yengich an additional five (5) days within which to respond to the FEC's pending motion. Opposition memoranda, if any, should address both the merits of the pending motion and the failure to file a timely response. The Clerk's Office is directed to mail a copy of this Order to Mr. Yengich at the address identified in the certificate of service [142 at 5].
