** TEXT ONLY ORDER **Defendant's motion (dkt. #9 ) to postpone the August 31, 2018 telephonic preliminary pretrial conference pending a ruling on its expedited motion to transfer (dkt. #4 ) is granted in this fashion: the telephonic conference is canceled. Jury selection and trial are set for October 21, 2019 at 9:00 so that this case does not lose its place in line for trial in the event the court denies the motion to transfer. The court will set interstitial dates and deadlines at a rescheduled telephonic pretrial conference if necessary after the transfer motion is decided. Because this case is going to be tried in a federal court in any event, the parties must make their Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures not later than September 28, 2018 unless they agree to something else.
