Filing 62 MEMORANDUM OPINION - For the reasons stated above, the Court GRANTS the Speeds motion for default judgment against Northwest Tool & Die. (Doc. 60). The Court SETS the issue of damages for a hearing at 2:00 p.m. on November 2, 2017 in Courtroom 7B, Hu go L. Black United States Courthouse, 1729 5th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203. The plaintiffs shall be prepared to present evidence that will allow the Court to assess punitive damages in an amount that comports with due process. See TXO Prod. Co rp. v. Alliance Res. Corp., 509 U.S. 443 (1993); Pacific Mut. Life Ins. Co. v. Haslip, 499 U.S. 1 (1991). During the hearing, the parties shall please be prepared to discuss defendant Gestamp North America, Inc.s motion for summary judgment. (Doc. 58). Filing 40 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER - For the reasons discussed above, the Court GRANTS the Speeds motion for leave to conduct limited jurisdictional discovery. Gestamp shall answer the plaintiffs request for production of documents within 21 days.
