ORDER Before this Court is Petitioner Dennis Lamar Echols (Echols) Motion to Dismiss Petition. (Doc. 3.) Echols motion is due to be granted. This motion derives from discussions at the telephone conference held on September 27, 2023. Pursuant to that conversation and the current motion, the Court hereby orders that the imprisonment previously ordered in 2:01-cr-00048-LSC-JHE run concurrently with the imprisonment in Alabama case DC-2014-011344 to the extent necessary for Echols to complete his imprisonment in 2:01-cr-00048-LSC-JHE on the date of this Order. It is the intention of this Order that Echols be released for time served up to this date. Accordingly, this Court grants Echols petition to dismiss his 2255 motion with costs taxed as paid, and orders Echols to be released with no supervision to follow. Any unsatisfied financial obligations previously imposed shall remain in place. Signed by Judge L Scott Coogler on 10/2/2023. (KAM)
