ORDER The deadline to respond to the court's order to show cause has passed without a response from Unifund. The court, therefore, concludes that Mr. Pritchett lacks Article III standing and this case cannot proceed in federal court. The parties' apparent settlement of this case does not change the lack of subject matter jurisdiction; the court cannot "retain jurisdiction" over a case in which it never had jurisdiction to begin with.
