ORDER GRANTING LEAVE TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, AND ORDER TO FILE AMENDED COMPLAINT: On September 18, 2024, Plaintiff Roberta Bailey filed a pro se complaint against the City of Birmingham and several other defendants. Doc. #1 . Along with the complaint, Plaintiff Bailey also filed a motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis. Doc. #2 . For reasons within, Bailey's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP) (Doc. #2 ) is GRANTED pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1), and Bailey is ORDERED to file an amended complaint within 21 days. Clerk is DIRECTED to refrain from serving the defendants with process under 28 U.S.C. 1915(d) until specifically directed to do so. The Clerk is DIRECTED to mail to Bailey at her address of record a copy of this order, and a copy of the form "Pro Se General Complaint For A Civil Case."
