TEXT ORDER: On April 11, 2022, the plaintiff notified the court that he has settled his claims against the defendant and requested a stay of all deadlines until May 31, 2022 to provide him an opportunity to voluntarily dismiss his case #9 . The plaintiff's motion to stay deadlines is GRANTED IN PART. #9 . The defendant's responsive pleading deadline is extended to May 23, 2022. Because the extension suspends the occurrence of a "triggering event" under the General Order for Referral to Magistrate Judges, the parties are ORDERED to submit forms indicating whether they consent to magistrate judge jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 636 by no later than May 23, 2022. If the parties consent to magistrate jurisdiction, the undersigned will address the balance of the requested extension at that time.
