ORDER - Given the allegations in DeJesus's habeas petition, the court cannot discern whether he intends to challenge his pretrial detention pursuant to 2241, or whether he seeks relief for violation of his constitutional rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983. The court WARNS DeJesus that this court MAY NOT award monetary damages in an action brought pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2241. The undersigned ORDERS DeJesus to notify the court within 30 days from the entry date of this Order whether he wishes to (1) continue with this action pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2241 and correct the deficiencies identified herein; or (2) file a complaint pursuant to 1983 and name as defendant the individual prison officials he alleges violated his constitutional rights.
