November 19, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER - Plaintiff must either serve each Defendant or seek a waiver of service for each Defendant. If Plaintiff does not either obtain a waiver of service of the summons or complete service of the Summons and Complaint on a Defendant within 90 days of the filing of the Complaint or within 60 days of the filing of this Order, whichever is later, the action may be dismissed as to each Defendant not served. Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m). Defendants must not answer the Complaint until further order of the Court. Within 60 days after service or waiver of service, Defendants must file and serve a brief: (a) providing the Court with the status of any criminal cases against Plaintiff related to the incident described in the Complaint, and (b) discussing the applicability of Gilbertson and Wallace. Within 30 days after service of the brief, Plaintiff must file and serve a responsive brief. Within 15 days after service of the responsive brief, Defendants may file and serve a reply brief, if they so desire.
