He therefore filed this action in August 2012, alleging that each of those parties-including the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles ("CLCLA") and Lloyd Bedell ("Bedell") (collectively, "Defendants")-violated his civil rights..... Defendants' motion for judgment on the pleadings is DENIED. Defendants first, third, fourth, and fourteenth affirmative defenses have been withdrawn. Plaintiff's motion to strike is GRANTED as to Defendants' eighth, ninth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, and fifteenth affirmative defenses, but Defendants shall be given leave to amend.
