ORDER RE. RETURN OF CHILDREN TO SWEDEN by Judge Otis D. Wright, II: Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig is ORDERED TO APPEAR with A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. no later than 5 p.m. on April 30, 2014, at the Norwegian Airlines check-in counter at Los Angeles Internati onal Airport. Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig is ORDERED to cooperate with Petitioner Andreas Carlwig and his counsel to obtain the necessary travel documents for A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. before their April 30, 2014 departure.As the April 17, 2014 Order sta tes, A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. are to be returned to Sweden in the custody of Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig. However, if Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig refuses to return to Sweden as is her right the children shall return in the custody of Petitioner Andreas Carlwig. To ensure compliance, this Court ORDERS Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig to appear in person before this Court for a status conference on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Petitioner Andreas Carlwig is also ORDERED to appear, but may do so te lephonically if he is not in the country. Any party, or individual acting in concert with a party to this action, who fails to comply with this Order and the April 17, 2014 Order will be held in contempt. ORDER GRANTING PETITION FOR RETURN OF CHILDREN TO SWEDEN 1 , 3 . The Court also DENIES Mothers Motions to Dismiss and Stay the proceedings 20 . The Court ORDERS that A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. be returned to Sweden for custody proceedings forthwith. Fath er has stated that he will pay for Mother and the children to fly back to Sweden for custody proceedings. He has also stated that he will pay for all three to stay in a place separate and apart from him during the pendency of custody proceedings. Ac cordingly, the children are to return to Sweden in the custody of their mother Sarodjiny Carlwig. Sarodjiny Carlwig is ORDERED not to leave the jurisdiction of the Central District of California until her departure with the children to Sweden. The pa ssports of Sarodjiny Carlwig and A.L.C. are being held by the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office. The Court ORDERS that the passports be released to Sarodjiny Carlwig upon a showing that a flight to Sweden has been booked and is imminent. F athers counsel is to file weekly status reports with the Court on the progress of travel arrangements for the return of A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. to Sweden. The first status report shall be filed no later than Thursday, April 24, 2014, with subsequent reports to be filed every seven days thereafter until the children have departed for Sweden by Judge Otis D. ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE RE. PETITION TO RETURN CHILDREN TO SWEDEN AND ORDER SETTING BRIEFING SCHEDULE AND HEARING by Judge Otis D. Wright, II:Neither Respondent nor any person acting in concert with or participating with her shall take any action to remo ve children A.L.C. and E.R.S.C. from the Central District of California pending a determination by this Court on the Petition.Respondent Sarodjiny Carlwig is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE no later than Friday, March 28, 2014 why the two minor children should not be returned to Sweden for adjudication of custody matters. Respondent will comply with this Order to Show Cause in writing by filing a responsive brief to the Petition for Return of Children to Sweden. Petitioner Andreas Carlwig may file a reply brief no later than Friday,April 4, 2014.The Court sets an evidentiary hearing on the Petition for Friday,April 11, 2014, at 10 a.m.All other provisional relief requested in the Petition is DENIED. This includes Petitioners request that Respondent surrender her passport and the passports of her children.Petitioner shall ensure that this Order is served on Respondent forthwith. (lc).
