ORDER GRANTING PLAINTIFF CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS, INC.'S UNOPPOSED MOTION TO COMPEL (ECF #1 , #12 ) by Magistrate Judge Steve Kim. This Court, having considered Plaintiff Cadence Design Systems, Inc.s unopposed Motion to Compel against third-party Bill Torres & Co., Inc. (Torres) in connection with Cadence Design Systems, Inc. v. Pounce Consulting, Inc., et al., No. 4:17-cv-04732-PJH (N.D. Cal.), hereby GRANTS the motion and ORDERS that: Unless the parties stipulate to different deadlines, Torres must produce all responsive documents without objections to Cadences document subpoena within 14 calendar days of this order and appear for a deposition limited to questioning about the produced documents within 14 days after the completed production of documents. MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER RE: PLAINTIFF'S MOTION TO COMPEL (ECF #1 , #12 ) by Magistrate Judge Steve Kim. On September 21, 2018, Plaintiff moved to compel third-party Bill Torres & Co., Inc. (Torres), which is located in this district, to comply with a subpoena for documents issued in April 2018 from a matter pending in the Northern District of California. If either Torres or any Defendant opposes the motion to compel, they must file an opposition by no later than October 19, 2018. Plaintiff may file an optional reply within seven days of service of any opposition. This matter shall be submitted for decision without oral argument on October 19, 2018, if no opposition is filed, or on the expiration of the time for Plaintiff to file an optional reply if an opposition is filed. Both non-parties and parties are advised that the failure to oppose the motion to compel may be deemed consent to the granting of the motion. See L.R. 7-12. Plaintiff shall serve a copy of this order on both Torres and Defendants and file proof of such service within the Court by no later than October 19, 2018. The hearing on the motion to compel noticed for November 14, 2018 is vacated. (clee)
