Plaintiff may file a First Amended Complaint, which will add a tenth cause of action for violation of PAGA, on or before December 31, 2019; 2. Defendants will have 30 days from the date Plaintiff files his First Amended Complaint to file their response to the First Amended Complaint; and 3. parties are to meet andconfer and be prepared to describe at the scheduling conference (and in the 26(f) Report) an explanation of what investigation and discovery will be necessary in order to prepare a class certification motion and opposition and to provide a concrete timeline for accomplishing those tasks. In the event the parties request a continuance of the scheduling conference (which the Court hopes is unlikely), the parties will nevertheless file a statement containing this information and a proposed class certification schedule by February 3, 2020.
