December 12, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 21 MINUTES: IN CHAMBERS-COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson: In light of Defendants counsels violation of the Local Rules and unsatisfactory Response to the Order to Show Cause, the Court concludes that the violation of the Local Rules was, at a minimum, reckless. The Court finds that a monetary sanction is appropriate. Accordingly, the Court sanctions Defendants counsel $750.00 payable to the Clerk of the Court. Alternatively, counsel may satisfy the sanction by donating $500.00 in books or school supplies to a public elementary or middle school located within a ten mile radius of the Courthouse. Defendants counsel shall file a declaration signed under penalty of perjury attesting to counsels compliance with this Order by no later than December 23, 2019. IT IS SO ORDERED.
