MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. The Court's subject matter jurisdiction is therefore premised on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act claim, which is the only federal claim asserted in the action. Because the relief available under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act is, in many cases, overlapping, the Court provides Plaintiffs with an opportunity to voluntarily dismiss their federal claims. Should Plaintiffs file a Notice of Dismissal by no later than June 23, 2020, in which Plaintiffs dismiss their federal claim, the Court would decline to exercise supplemental jurisdiction over the remaining state law claims and exercise its discretion to remand the remaining claims back to the Los Angeles Superior Court.
