The Court has before it Defendant Seyed Ziaeddin Taheri Zangakani, Saeed Torab Abtahi, Issa Shayegh, and Khalil Henareh Consent Motion to Extend Deadline to Answer Complaint. Defendants' filing is procedurally improper. Specifically, Defendants violated the Local Rules by filing a "Consent Motion." There are no "Consent Motions" contemplated by the Local Rules. Instead, Local Rule 6-1 states: (see document for details). Notwithstanding Defendants' failure to comply with the Local Rules of this Court, the Court grants Defendants Zangakani, Abtahi, Shayegh, and K. Henareh a thirty-day extension to move, answer, or otherwise respond to Plaintiff's Complaint. Defendants' response is due on or before October 4, 2021. Future violations of the Local Rules of this Court may result in the imposition of sanctions. (mrgo)
