MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. Before the Court is a Complaint filed by plaintiff Melanie E. Damian ("Plaintiff") on March 24, 2021. (Dkt. 1.) Plaintiff alleges that the Court possesses supplemental jurisdiction over this action, but fails to adequately show that the Court has original jurisdiction over Plaintiff's claims. (Id. at 9.) The Court therefore dismisses the Complaint and grants Plaintiff leave to amend and establish federal subject matter jurisdiction. The Court hereby grants Plaintiff leave to amend to attempt to establish federal subject matter jurisdiction. Plaintiff's Amended Complaint, if any, shall be filed no later than April 5, 2021. The failure to timely respond will result in the dismissal of this action without prejudice. Plaintiff would then be free to pursue her claims in another venue. (See document for details) (mrgo)
