MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. Before the Court is a Complaint filed by plaintiff Loren Stone ("Plaintiff") on July 20, 2021. (Dkt. 1 ("Compl.").) Plaintiff alleges that the Court possesses jurisdiction over this action pursuant to the Class Action Fairness Act ("CAFA"), 28 U.S.C. 1332(d). (Id. at 7.) However, the Complaint fails to adequately allege that the requirements for CAFA jurisdiction are met. The Court therefore dismisses the Complaint and grants Plaintiff leave to amend and establish federal subject matter jurisdiction. Plaintiff's Amended Complaint, if any, shall be filed no later than August 12, 2021. (See document for details) (mrgo)
