February 1, 2022 Filing 79 DESIGNATION of Record on Appeal by Defendant Facebook Inc., Gibson Dunn Inc., Nike Inc. (Schwing, Austin)
January 31, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 78 MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: On 1/27/2022, Plaintiff filed a new motion to, among other things, disqualify the Court and enter default against Defendants #77 . Though the grounds for the motion are unclear, Plaintiff appears to seek disqualification because he disagrees with the Court's rulings to dismiss this case, declare Plaintiff a vexatious litigant, and hold him in civil contempt. This does not satisfy the standard for disqualification. Plaintiff's motion is therefore DENIED. Plaintiff has failed to heed the Court's warning about filing frivolous or improper filings. Accordingly, this case shall remain closed and Plaintiff must file no further documents in this action, except in furtherance of an appeal. The Court directs the clerk to accept no further filings from Plaintiff in this closed case, except those in furtherance of an appeal. See document for further details. Court Reporter: N/A. (gk)

August 23, 2021 Filing 19 NOTICE OF DEFICIENCIES in Request to Issue Summons RE: Complaint #2 . The following error(s) was found: The caption of the summons must match the caption of the complaint verbatim. If the caption is too large to fit in the space provided, enter the name of the first party and then write "see attached."Next, attach a face page of the complaint or a second page addendum to the Summons. The Summons caption has defendant(s) listed as, "The United States Government, see attached." As there is more than one section that indicates, "See attached," it would be helpful to identify the section as, "See attachment 1." Likewise, the section that begins, "To: (Defendant's name and address)," has the words, "See attached," and it could be more clearly identified as, "See attachment 2." Following the Summons Form, are two pages representing the parties named on the Complaint. It seems that the names listed as defendants are not identical to the initial Complaint filed in this court, as there is an addition of the United States Secret Service. The summons cannot be issued until this defect has been corrected. Please correct the defect and re-file your request. (gk)
