MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Mark C. Scarsi: ORDER REQUIRING BRIEFING ON SUBJECT MATTER JURISDICTION. In the parties' Joint Rule 26(f) Report, Plaintiffs indicate they may move to remand the case to state court for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. Defendant's removal papers invoke the Court's diversity jurisdiction. Having reviewed the removal papers, the Court doubts that the amount-in-controversy requirement is satisfied because Defendant fails to establish beyond speculation that the amount in controversy exceeds $75,000.00". The Court orders the parties to brief whether the amount-in-controversy requirement is met here.
