MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Mark C. Scarsi: ORDER RE: STIPULATION TO EXTEND TIME TO RESPOND TO FIRST AMENDED COMPLAINT as to Defendants Ramsey Asphalt Construction Corp., Scott P. Ramsey, and Lisa M. Ramsey #27 .All three Defendants' responses were overdue when the stipulation was filed. The stipulation is not supported by a showing of excusable neglect sufficient to justify retroactive relief from the response deadline. Fed. R. Civ. P. (b)(l)(B). Nor is it supported by a "detailed declaration of the grounds for the requested continuance or extension of time." Nonetheless, in the interest of judicial economy, the Court grants the stipulation. Defendants Ramsey Asphalt Construction Corp., Scott P. Ramsey, and Lisa M. Ramsey shall respond to the First Amended Complaint by January 10, 2022. The Court will not grant further extensions absent an extraordinary showing of good cause. (lc)
