MINUTES OF CONTINUED INFORMAL DISCOVERY CONFERENCE 1 Hearing held before Magistrate Judge Maria A. Audero: The Court confers with the parties. Based thereon, the Court ORDERS as follows: 1. The Court hereby BIFURCATES the issue of whether transfer of Defendant's Motion to Compel to the New York Action is appropriate, on the one hand, from the substantive issues raised in the Motion to Compel, on the other. The Court will resolve the issue of transfer first and, should the Court find that transfer is not appropriate, the Court will then set a briefing and hearing schedule on the Motion to Compel. 2. The parties shall continue meeting and conferring on the issue of transfer. 3. Should the parties be unable to resolve the issue of transfer without Court intervention, Defendant may file a motion to transfer the Motion to Compel pursuant to Rules 37 and 45 and Central District of California Local Civil Rule ("Local Rule") 37. 4.
