MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Otis D. Wright, II: Upon review of Plaintiffs Complaint, the Court found no basis to exercise subject matter jurisdiction over this action. (See Order to Show Cause, ECF No. 8.) Plaintiff's Response to theCourt's Order to Show Cause similarly reveals no basis for federal subject matter jurisdiction. (See Pl.'s Subject Matter Notice, ECF No. #12 ). Plaintiff states that he believes "two promissory notes/legal tender(s)" that he mailed to Defendant give the Court subject matter jurisdiction over this case. However, Plaintiff cites no federal law from which his unarticulated claims might ariseand provides no information that would support diversity jurisdiction. Accordingly, as the Court previously cautioned, Plaintiffs failure to provide a basis for federal subject matter jurisdiction means the Court must DISMISS this case without prejudice. All dates are VACATED. The Clerk of the Court shall close the case. (Made JS-6. Case Terminated.) (lc)
