Claimant Robert David Sheehan III applies for leave to file certain documents under seal. (Appl., ECF No. 17.) This follows a prior application the Court denied for failure to comply with Local Rule 79-5.2.2(a). (See Order Re: Case Initiation, ECF No. 16.) The Court again denies the application for failure to comply with that rule. The memorandum of points and authorities Claimant seeks to seal remains unfiled in unredacted form. Claimant also filed the three documents he seeks to seal in their entirety in public view. The Court also denies the application on the merits. To the extent Claimant seeks to seal information contained in purportedly confidential documents he publicly filed (inadvertently or not), the application must be denied. Even if Claimants counsel had successfully protected the documents from public filing, Claimant does not articulate "specific factual findings" sufficient to persuade the Court of any compelling reasons to seal. Some case-opening documents appear deficient. First, Claimant applied to seal certain documents supporting the Petition #4 . Most notably, there is no declaration supporting the application, and the documents sought to be sealed have not been filed in unredacted form.
