ORDER APPROVING MINOR'S COMPROMISE by Judge Percy Anderson. The Joint Petition is approved as follows: a. The settlement between the parties, as reflected in Exhibit 4, is approved. Ms. Pierce shall retain an attorney to establish a special needs trust for the benefit of H.P., if she has not done so already; b. Within thirty days of establishment of the special needs trust, the District shall issue a check in the amount of $102,500, payable to H.P.'s trust account; c. Within thirty days of this Order, the District shall issue a check in the amount of $35,000 to the Shaw Firm to compensate Plaintiff for his attorney's fees; and d. The Court will retain jurisdiction for sixty days over enforcement of the Settlement Agreement. RE: MISC - Other Miscellaneous Case, #1 , (Made JS-6. Case Terminated.) (aco)
