MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. On April 26, 2023, Plaintiffs initiated a new action, Case No. CV 23-3143 PA (ASx), that contains a nearly identical Complaint with duplicate factual allegations, causes of action, and seeking the same relief. Plaintiffs seemingly identified the new action as identical to Case No. CV 23-2072 PA (ASx) (see Docket No. 3), and this Court accepted the low number transfer pursuant to General Order 21-01. Plaintiffs are therefore ordered to show cause in writing why Case No. 23-3143 PA (ASx) should not be dismissed as a duplicate action. Plaintiffs' Response to this Order to Show Cause shall be filed by no later than May 4, 2023. (lom)
