MINUTES [IN CHAMBERS] ORDER DISMISSING ACTION WITHOUT PREJUDICE #3 by Judge Dolly M. Gee. The Court gave Plaintiff until April 26, 2023 to file an amended complaint curing the deficiencies identified in the Order. Further, the Court warned Plaintiff that failure to timely respond to the Order would result in dismissal of the action without prejudice. The Court deferred ruling on Plaintiff's IFP request until he complied with the Order and presented the Court with a viable complaint. Id. To date, Plaintiff has not complied with the Court's Order and has taken no further action to litigate this case. The Court therefore DISMISSES this matter without prejudice for failure to prosecute and to comply with a court order. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b). All pending motions and requests are DENIED as moot. If Plaintiff intends to proceed with this action and can cure the deficiencies identified in this Order, he may file an amended complaint by April 26, 2023. He may not reallege claims against the County of Los Angeles, as those claims are dismissed without leave to amend.
