May 9, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 7 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Mark C. Scarsi: ORDER DISMISSING ACTION PURSUANT TO FEDERAL RULE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE 41(B). Plaintiff Nathan Cooley brings this action against Defendant City of Inglewood. The Court denied Plaintiff's request to proceed in forma pauperis and dismissed the Complaint for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction and for failure to state a claim #6 . The Court ordered Plaintiff to file an amended request to proceed in forma pauperis and amended complaint within 30 days and warned that failure to do so would result in dismissal of the case without prejudice. Plaintiff did not timely do so. Having considered these factors, dismissal is warranted for failure to prosecute and failure to comply with a court order. The case is dismissed without prejudice. This Order shall constitute notice of entry of judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 58. Pursuant to Local Rule 58-6, the Court directs the Clerk to treat this Order, and its entry on the docket, as an entry of judgment. (Made JS-6. Case Terminated.) (lc)
