The Court hereby ORDERS as follows: Polanco is DIRECTED to file, no later than January 12, 2024, a written response to this OSC explaining whether this Court has subject matter jurisdiction over the Unlawful Detainer action. The Court considers U.S. Bank's opposition to Polanco's motion to dismiss [ECF No. #13 ] -in which U.S. Bank argues that "this case should be immediately remanded because: the federal court lacks subject matter jurisdiction over Plaintiff's sole cause of action for unlawful detainer"as a sufficient response to the issues posed in the OSC. An in-person hearing on this Order to Show Cause is SET for January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The Court CONTINUES the hearing on Polanco's motion to dismiss [ECF No. #7 ] and the Scheduling Conference [ECF No. 10 ] to January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. IT IS SO ORDERED.
