(In Chambers) Order by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: The Court previously granted the parties' stipulation to continue the hearing on Plaintiff's motion for a preliminary injunction by more than a month because the parties stated that they were working to resolve the matter. Dkt. Nos. 20, 22. The parties now request an additional month-long continuance of the motion and responsive pleading deadlines because they are "engaging in further discussions regarding a possible resolution." Dkt. No. 26. The Court grants a shorter continuance of the motion and briefing deadlines, as the parties have not shown why an additional 35-day continuance is warranted. The preliminary injunction hearing is continued to August 14, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 6C. Defendants' opposition shall be due July 30; Plaintiff's reply, if any, shall be due August 6; Defendant's responsive pleading shall be due July 30. The temporary restraining order entered by the Court on June 8, 2026 (Dkt. No. 16) shall remain in effect until the August 14 hearing. ORDER GRANTING APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: Trader Joe's filed an application for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to enjoin Defendants from infringing its marks and requesting an order to show cause (OSC) why a preliminary injunction should not issue #13 . Plaintiff Trader Joe's application for a TRO is granted as follows: Defendants 4PX Express USA and Cainiao Supply Chain US. Inc., their officers, directors, employees, agents, subsidiaries, distributors, and all persons in active concert or participation with Defendants having notice of this order are hereby temporarily restrained re TRADER JOE'S word mark, the TRADER JOE'S design mark, or any other Trader Joe's trademarks, etc. This temporary restraining order shall expire on its own terms at the commencement of the preliminary injunction hearing on 6/26/2026. Defendants are ordered to appear on 6/26/2026 at 8:30 AM, to show cause why a preliminary injunction should not issue prohibiting the conduct that is the subject of this TRO. Defendants must file any opposition by 6/12/2026. Trader Joe's may file a reply no later than 6/19/2026.
