MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. The Court orders defendants' counsel to show cause in writing why counsel should not be sanctioned for failing to properly identify Case No. ED CV 18-2632 PA (SPx) action as an identical or related case on the Civil Cover Sheet and for failing to file a Notice of Related Case in violation the Local Rules. Such sanctions could include monetary sanctions of up to $1,000. Counsel's response to this order to show cause shall be filed on or before January 22, 2019, and shall not exceed eight pages. Defendants are therefore additionally ordered to show cause why this action should not be remanded as a result of any such procedural defect. Defendants' response to this order to show cause shall be filed no later than January 22, 2019. Plaintiff shall have until January 29, 2019 to file a response to the order to show cause in which Plaintiff shall state if she waives any such procedural defect and, by waiving the defect, that she instead elects to have this action proceed in this Court rather than Riverside County Superior Court where she filed her Complaint.
