October 10, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 6 MINUTES [IN CHAMBERS] ORDER RE ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE RE PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION by Judge James V. Selna: This Court lacks jurisdiction to review the BIA's removal order. To the extent that Barreto asserts a claim for ineffective assistance of counsel in the removal process, that claim is inextricably bound up with the removal merits, and is not reviewable in this Court. (Id.) Given the absence of jurisdiction, the Court need not consider whether there is a likelihood of relief in light of Barreto's extensive criminal history. (See Justin Decl, 5, 10, 15.)
