MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) Order Denying Plaintiff's Motion for Exemption from General Order 18-02 as Moot (Dkt. 3) by Magistrate Judge Douglas F. McCormick: Plaintiff moves for the Court to exempt him from General Order 18-02, which requires efiling by prisoners at certain prisons. See Dkt. 3. Plaintiff makes this request because the law librarian at Corcoran State Prison has interfered with his ability to access law library materials and defendant McDowell oversees the librarian. It appears Plaintiff has been transferred to Salinas Valley State Prison. See Dkt. 5; CDCR Inmate Locator, Inmate Information, CA.GOV, https:/ /inmatelocator.cdcr.ca.gov/Details.aspx?ID=AY1590 (last updated July 7, 2020). Prisoners at the Salinas Valley State Prison are not part of thee-filing program under General Order 18-02. Accordingly, Plaintiff's motion is DENIED as moot. (es)
