MINUTES OF IN CHAMBERS - ORDER RE REQUEST FOR EXTENSION by Judge Dolly M. Gee: After the Court issued an Order to Show Cause ("OSC") why it should not dismiss pro se Plaintiff Rachel M. Crook's Complaint for lack of jurisdiction on 6/29/2020 #8 , Plaintiff filed a request for an extension of time to respond #9 . Plaintiff claims that she needs more time to respond because she is seeking counsel to represent her and the global pandemic has made her search more difficult and time consuming. The Court concludes that this constitutes good cause for extending Plaintiff's response deadline. Plaintiff may therefore file her response to the OSC no later than 8/12/2020. In the future, Plaintiff shall avoid submitting requests for continuance less than five court days prior to the expiration of the scheduled date.
