Filing 13 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Otis D. Wright, II:Plaintiff Aizhen Liu, proceeding in pro se, submitted to the Court via United States maildocuments entitled Notice of Motion and Motion [to] Determine and arrange the interview time as soon as possible. However, the documents submitted do not indicate a motion date or courtroom, as required by Local Rules 6.1 and 7-4, or indicate that Plaintiff conferred with opposing counsel seven days in advance of the submission, as required by Local Rule 7-3. Further, the documents indicate a hearing will be held at the George E. Brown Federal Building in Riverside, California, although the correct court and courtroom is First Street Courthouse, 350 W. 1st Street, Los Angeles, California, 90012, Courtroom 5D. Additionally, it appears that Plaintiff has served the documents on the Court but not on Defendant. Finally, on October 9, 2020, the Court granted Plaintiffs application for pro se electronic filing, so Plaintiffs submissions should now be filed using the Courts electronic filing system. (ECF No. 12);Plaintiff is advised to read the Local Rules for the Central District of California and theInitial Standing Order for cases assigned to Judge Wright. Both can be found on the United States District Court for the Central District of Californias website. Plaintiff is also advised that the Federal Pro Se Clinic offers free information and guidance, information available at Court's website). (lc) |
