Filing 3 ORDER OF DISMISSAL OR REMAND by Judge Philip S. Guiterrez (Made JS-6. Case Terminated.) (yl) |
Filing 2 MINUTES [In Chambers] ORDER DENYING EMERGENCY REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION AND TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER by Judge Andre Birotte Jr: The Court has received Ms. Denise Chavezs emergency request for relief and has given this request its immediate attention. After carefully reviewing all of the materials Ms. Chavez submitted, the Court concluded that Ms. Chavezs case neither arises under a federal law nor comes under the Court's diversity jurisdiction. For this reason, the Court can neither bring in the parties for a hearing nor grant the sort of relief Ms. Chavez seeks. The Court would advise Ms. Chavez to seek relief in state court. Additionally, the Court would recommend that Ms. Chavez review her concerns with an attorney as she decides how to proceed. re Emergency Preliminary Injunction; Temporary Restraining Order; Notarized Affidavit and Email That Supports Our Statement of Facts And Exhibits #1 .
