Filing 18 STIPULATION to Extend Time to Respond to Cross-Complaint by Xavier Becerra, Lilia Garcia Brower, Julia A. Su. Attorney Jones, Aaron David added. (Jones, Aaron) |
Filing 17 MINUTE ORDER: (TEXT ENTRY ONLY) On March 13, 2020, Plaintiff and Cross-Defendant Leticia Pineda filed an ex parte motion for an extension of time to file responsive pleadings to Defendant and Cross-Complainant Sun Valley Packing L.P.'s amended complaint. (ECF No. #14 .) Sun Valley filed an opposition to the request on March 16, 2020, stating that to allow the filing would allow a barrage of filings at one time from various cross-defendants. (ECF No. #16 .) The Court does not find Sun Valley's fear that it will have to address a number of potential motions at the same time is good cause to deny the extension. Accordingly, Pineda's motion for an extension of time to file responsive pleadings is GRANTED, and her time to respond to Cross-Complainant Sun Valley's Amended Cross Complaint is extended from March 18, 2020, to April 29, 2020. Minute Order signed by Magistrate Judge Erica P. Grosjean on March 16, 2020. (Rooney, M) |
