Grosjean on March 21, 2024: On March 4, 2024, the Court ordered Plaintiff to "submit the attached application to proceed in forma pauperis, completed and signed, or in the alternative, pay the $405.00 filing fee for this action" within forty-five days. (ECF No. #5 ) (emphasis added). On March 18, 2024, Plaintiff filed a notice which states that Plaintiff provided a correctional officer at California State Prison-Sacramento with "an inmate trust withdrawal slip for $402.00 to pay the filing fee in this court" on February 28, 2024. (ECF No. #7 ). Plaintiff states that this withdrawal slip is being processed but may be delayed due to Plaintiff's transfer to High Desert State Prison. Plaintiff seeks an extension of thirty days to comply with the Court's order. The Court will grant Plaintiff's request. The Court further advises Plaintiff that, as indicated in its prior order, the applicable filing fee has increased from $402.00 to $405.00. Based on the foregoing, IT IS ORDERED that Plaintiff shall submit an application to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the $405.00 civil case filing fee by no later than May 20, 2024.
